RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) Tracking System

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification. It's a technology that uses radio waves to automatically identify and track objects, Offering a more powerful and versatile alternative to traditional barcode systems:• RFID tags don't need to be in line of sight of the reader to be scanned. This means they can be read even if they're hidden or buried inside something.• RFID tags can store more data than barcodes. This means they can be used to track more information about an object, such as its location, temperature, or even its history.

Unlike a barcode, the tag does not need to be within the line of sight of the reader, so it may be embedded in the tracked object. RFID is one method of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC).
  •  Asset / Documents / Warehouse / Gold & jewelry  Tracking.
  •  PC based / Web Based Tracking Management Software.
  •  State-of-the-art mobile handheld software.
  •  Manage multiple buildings, departments & warehouses.
  •  Category and sub-category for the assets / documents.
  •  Maintain purchase details, book value & deprecation.
  •  RFID / Barcode label printing.
  •  Multiple Reports.

RFID Fixed Asset Tracking System is one of the most advanced technologies, wherein ETISALCOM provides RFID solutions for all enterprises in Bahrain and GCC.

RFID helps to track the asset flow in an Organization more efficiently and systematically.

Assets hierarchy starts from company, division, department and building till room level. Tracking of assets is made easy with the state of art mobile technology with the integrated Handheld Mobile Terminal.

“Identify with RFID”

We also provide user friendly RFID Document Tracking System to track all the documents flow within the organization. This reduces the employee time required for the management of all documents and their tracking. Each document is assigned with a RFID label which is unique and this label is used to track each document.

We provide both RFID Active and Passive Tracking services as per requirement. RFID Active and Passive Tracking enables tracking real time location of assets, tolling, access control system, file tracking, supply chain management, smart labels etc.

RFID passive tracking system consists of RFID tags with no internal power, and instead use electromagnetic signals from RFID reader.

This system is usually applicable in the case of access control and document tracking. RFID active tracking system include an internal battery source that transmits their own signal.

“Quickly identify with RFID”

Goods Receiving the items based on the Purchase Order / Goods Receiving Note

Tagging Items Every individual inventory item will be RFID Tagged, Put away / Binning.

Picking Based in the Sales Order / Pick List the items will be picked. Racks labels are scanned while the items are scanned thru RFID and updated to the middleware / back office in Real-Time.

Dispatch / Shipping This is a process, like vehicle loading or delivered or sent out for delivery.

Stock Take / Cycle Count This is to have a periodical inventory count to match against the Physical stock and the system stock and maintain high accuracy.

RFID in health care represents a breakthrough for the regulations and issues affecting the industry. These technologies offer significant benefits to the health care industry in terms of ensuring patient safety, tracking drug usage throughout the clinical phase testing protocols and improved visibility into turns enabling faster redeployment.

Significant business value can be gained by deploying RFID technology in manufacturing. Precise, real time situational awareness yields tangible benefits in manufacturing performance. Synchronizing an RFID enabled plant floor with the RFID driven supply network allows a manufacturer to achieve just in time production. RFID information can be used to ensure that the correct labor, machine, tooling, consumables and bill of materials are available and ready to use at each processing step, thereby eliminating paperwork, error and reducing downtime.

RFID technologies are powerful ingredients to enhance logistics. Precise, real time monitoring of logistics yields tangible benefits in supply chain performance. Across industry, companies with better logistics granularity achieve better demand forecast accuracy, have 15% less inventory, 17% better perfect order ratings and 35% shorter cash to cash cycle times than their peers. Turbo charging logistics with RFID has also shown to improve bottom line financial and market performance. Today’s competitive environment makes RFID and RTLS a must have for best of breed infrastructure.

RFID access control and personnel tracking and location systems can help to assure the security of restricted areas in airports, such as:

-          Flight lines.

-          Baggage handling areas.

-          Customs.

-          Employee lounges, Employee Location, Tracking, and Access Restriction.

-          Increased Passenger Efficiency and Flow.

-          Tamper Resistance

-          and other sensitive areas.

These techniques could also be applied at maritime ports, railway stations, and passenger bus terminals.

Benefits of using RFID Systems in Airports:

For Luggage required to be manually checked, it can be tagged by RFID sticker.

Suspected Bags can be tagged based of the suspect type, the custom officer generates the tag with various coding based on the suspect and print using RFID Printer while the baggage screening and sent to the conveyer for the passage to collect his baggage.

-          Customs can easily track any items/Luggage … etc.

-          Secure passenger concourses and boarding areas for only authorized passengers

- Secure restricted areas for only authorized employees

- Quickly locate employees in critical environments

-Streamline customer ticketing and boarding while maintaining a high level of security.

- Badge tamper sensor - identifies when badge is removed and possibly swapped among employees or passengers.
